Emily Morter

I am a qualified psychotherapist with a strong academic foundation, holding an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychological Research. I have also completed Level 3 Counselling training, further strengthening my therapeutic skill set and client-focused approach. I have extensive experience supporting individuals under the age of 25, delivering holistic, person-centred care across a range of areas including mental health, substance use, and sexual health. My work is rooted in evidence-based practice, with a focus on creating safe, supportive environments where young people can explore challenges and build resilience. I am highly experienced in delivering telehealth services, confidently providing remote therapeutic support while maintaining strong engagement, rapport, and clinical effectiveness. I adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care in digital settings. Specialist Area: Adolescent and young adult mental health, with a particular focus on the intersection of substance misuse, sexual health, and emotional wellbeing.
