Anamika

My name is Anamika, and I have an academic background in psychology with a specialization in counselling. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. Psychology from the University of Calicut, Kerala, in 2023. I then pursued my postgraduate studies and completed my Master’s degree in M.Sc. Counselling Psychology from Karnatak University, Dharwad, in 2025. To strengthen my practical skills and clinical exposure, I completed several internships in the field of mental health. I gained hands-on experience at Chethana Center for Neuropsychiatry, Calicut, where I was exposed to psychological assessment, counselling practices, and mental health interventions. I also completed an internship at Relicus Academy, focusing on child rehabilitation and developmental support. In addition to my academic qualifications, I have pursued professional certification courses to enhance my therapeutic knowledge. These include a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) course from PsyBridge and a Psycho-Oncology course from Mentex, which provided specialized training in psychological support for individuals dealing with cancer and other serious illnesses. Currently, I am working as a Psychology Teaching Faculty, where I teach psychology to students and help them understand key psychological concepts and applications. Alongside my teaching role, I also work as a freelance psychologist, providing counselling and psychological support to individuals. Through my academic training, internships, and professional experience, I have developed strong skills in psychological counselling, mental health awareness, and student guidance.
