I am a motivated Counselling Psychologist with an M.Sc in Psychology and a strong foundation in both clinical and online counselling settings. I bring four months of hands-on experience from Mercy Multi Speciality Hospital, Trichy, where I worked in a psychiatric department supporting clients with anxiety, depression, behavioural concerns, and stress-related issues. My responsibilities included conducting assessments, providing brief therapeutic interventions, maintaining case records, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care. In addition to my clinical exposure, I have previous experience in online one-on-one counselling, which has strengthened my communication skills, adaptability, and ability to maintain professionalism in virtual therapeutic environments. I am trained in client-centred and integrative approaches, including CBT, solution-focused work, and supportive counselling. My strengths include ethical practice, accurate documentation, crisis handling, and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
