Melanie Broadley

I am a BACP Accredited integrative counsellor with over 15 years’ experience working across NHS talking therapies, EAP services, private healthcare and further education. I currently lead a student counselling service supporting young people aged 16+ with a wide range of emotional and mental health needs, including complex presentations and risk. My work integrates relational and trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity challenges and life transitions. Alongside my clinical work I have extensive experience in assessment, risk management and mental health triage. As a neurodivergent counsellor with lived experience of ADHD and autism, I bring a thoughtful and inclusive approach to therapy. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, build self-understanding and develop ways to move forward.
