Integrative Psychotherapist and trainee arts psychotherapist with an Msc in Psychology and postgraduate degree in Counselling Psychology, developing a practice in Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT), person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, as well as mindfulness and the therapeutic use of seven art forms (sand tray, clay, painting, music, movement, drama and poetry). Additional training at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Bringing over nine years of experience supporting adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, grief, eating disorders, psychosis, brain injuries, low self-esteem and poor coping skills. Skilled in using counselling and coaching techniques to build therapeutic relationships, communicate effectively and collaboratively develop care plans. Experience working in areas with high deprivation and within multicultural settings, delivering inclusive and culturally sensitive support regardless of race, sexuality, gender identity, religion, or social background. Demonstrates strong professional judgement, awareness of clinical limitations, and the ability to assess and escalate risk appropriately. Experience delivering support online, by telephone, and in person, in both one-to-one and group settings.
