Safna Mohammedkutty

I am Safna Mohammedkutty, a practicing Psychologist and experienced Counselor dedicated to promoting individuals’ mental wellbeing, safety, and holistic development. I provide individual and group counseling services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. My work includes comprehensive psychological assessments, case conceptualization, and the development of structured, individualized intervention plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Delhi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Calicut University. My additional certifications, including Psychosocial First Aid training, have further strengthened my clinical competence in addressing developmental, cognitive, emotional, and crisis-related concerns across diverse populations. Beyond my professional roles, I have volunteered as a listener, offering empathetic and non-judgmental emotional support to individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, and life transitions. This experience has enhanced my active listening skills, emotional attunement, crisis intervention abilities, and capacity to build strong therapeutic alliances within confidential and culturally sensitive settings.
