Tanuja Upadhyay

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (Canada), a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Psychology, both from the University of Delhi (India). The heart of my practice is grounded in compassion, connection, and curiosity. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, safe, and understood, when therapy becomes a space to untangle the knots of life gently, together. My role is to help you make sense of your experiences, support your growth, and empower you to reconnect with your inner strength and sense of self. I work with adults navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, and life transitions, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy through a culturally responsive and person-centered lens. I believe that our stories are shaped by our identities and lived experiences, and I strive to honor each client’s unique background and worldview in our work together. Fluent in English and Hindi, I am committed to creating a space that feels welcoming, transparent, and deeply human — a place where you can show up just as you are."
