Sofia Di Grusa

I am Dr. Sofia Di Grusa, a licensed psychologist and I am currently attending the psychotherapy training focused on developmental age. I offer psychological consultations to adolescents, young adults, and parental couples, both online and in person at a private practice. Sessions are available in both Italian and English. I work with emotional and relational difficulties as well as life transitions, with particular attention to developmental stages and family contexts. My training took place both abroad and in Italy: I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Amsterdam and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Trento. My clinical approach is grounded in psychoanalytic theory of developmental age, which views childhood as a fundamental period for the construction of identity and psychological well-being. I believe that the quality of early relationships plays a significant role in shaping the relationship each person develops with themselves and with others throughout life. As S. Freud wrote, “every adult lives alongside the child they once were.” I believe in providing a space of respectful listening, attentive to personal history and meaningful relationships.
