About

How I Work I work in an integrative way, adapting therapy to you as an individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is grounded in person-centred practice and ecotherapy, offering a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. Therapy with me is collaborative. You set the pace, and together we explore whatever feels most important or challenging for you. I aim to work in a way that feels steady, respectful, and supportive, allowing space for reflection, understanding, and meaningful change. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and have a particular interest in how stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm affect the nervous system. My intention is always to support you in a way that feels alleviating, restorative, and tailored to your needs. Nature-based work is an important part of my practice, recognising the grounding and regulating effect that being outdoors can offer, especially when life feels overwhelming or words feel hard to find. What I Offer Online and Phone Therapy Online and phone sessions are available for initial consultations and ongoing therapy, offering a flexible and accessible way to engage with counselling. Ecotherapy (Outdoor Sessions) For those who feel drawn to nature, I offer sessions in local green spaces. These may involve walking, sitting, or simply being outdoors together, using the natural environment to support grounding, reflection, and emotional clarity. What to expect from me Starting counselling can feel like a significant step, particularly if you are unsure where to begin. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a calm and steady presence as you make sense of what is happening in your life and inner world. Many of the people I work with feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck. Others come to therapy during periods of grief, burnout, or life transition, or because they notice long-standing patterns such as people-pleasing, self-criticism, or difficulty expressing emotions. You may feel disconnected from yourself, uncertain about your direction, or carrying more than feels manageable. I bring warmth, thoughtfulness, and consistency to my work, with a focus on approaches that help people reconnect emotionally, physically, and through the natural world. If you’d like to find out more about therapy or have any questions, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. It’s a relaxed space to see if working together feels like the right fit for you.
