I am a Canadian Counselling Psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting clients in Southeast Asia, where I have lived for the past 26 years. Originally a professional orchestra violinist, I retrained in Canada (Counselling Diploma) and the United Kingdom (MSc in Counselling Psychology), becoming a member of the British Columbia Psychological Association (BCPA), a Certified Executive Coach, and an affiliate of the International Practitioners in Holistic Medicine (IPHM). My shift from music to psychology stems from a deep passion for guiding others through life's challenges. I draw from modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassionate Inquiry, mindfulness, and self-compassion to foster exploration, healing, and growth. Clients uncover patterns, release trauma, and build resilience through heightened self-awareness and practical techniques. My approach emphasize self-discovery, tracing triggers back to their origins, often childhood, while offering actionable strategies for emotional regulation and purpose. My warm, safe space promotes liberation, confidence, and a deeper connection to life, blending professional rigor with heartfelt empathy.
