Leonie Bandurski

I am a psychologist (M.Sc.) with a background as a trained early childhood educator, dance and movement therapist, and with additional training in progressive muscle relaxation (PMR). I work in a warm, attachment-oriented and resource-focused way, offering a compassionate and supportive space for people who are experiencing emotional distress and difficult life situations. My background combines academic training in psychology with extensive practical experience in psychosocial counseling, psychiatric and psychosomatic settings, and work with adolescents and adults in vulnerable or challenging situations. This has allowed me to work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, trauma-related stress, self-esteem difficulties, and times of major change or uncertainty. I believe that every person has their own story, strengths, and pace. In our work together, I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. I work in a gentle, trauma-sensitive, and resource-oriented way helping you better understand what is happening inside you, reconnect with your inner resources, and develop ways of coping that truly fit you and your life. You do not have to “function perfectly” or have everything figured out to start this process. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply seeking more self-understanding, I will meet you with openness, respect, and care. I see our work as a collaborative journey one in which we explore together what you need, what supports you, and what can help you move forward with more ease, confidence, and self-compassion.
