I’m Akshitara, a clinical Psychologist and my work as a therapist is shaped by a simple belief, people feel better when they are heard with clarity, patience, and honesty. For me, therapy isn’t a rigid 10-step plan or a box you’re supposed to fit into. It’s structured, yes, but never so strict that you can’t bring in what you genuinely need on a particular day. Some sessions are about understanding long-standing patterns; others are about something that happened an hour ago and is sitting heavy in your chest. And both matter equally. My approach is collaborative, not “I know everything and you follow,” but “we work on this together.” You get to decide what feels important, what direction you want to take, and what pace feels safe for you. I’m here to guide, reflect, challenge gently when needed, and hold a space where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay.Clients often tell me that I help them see things clearly ,the thoughts that keep looping, the emotional patterns that feel confusing, or the fears they’ve been carrying alone for too long. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can breathe differently , where you don’t have to manage yourself, where nothing is “too much,” and where every part of you has space to show up. My hope is that the work we do together helps you feel more regulated, more aware of yourself, and more confident in navigating your internal world in a way that feels grounded, real, and sustainable.
