Juan Martin Mesa Llaurado

I am a 37-year-old psychologist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I earned my degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires in 2016 and have been practicing professionally ever since. Over the years, I have gained experience in a variety of clinical settings and roles. I have completed several seminars and trainings related to LGBTQ+ issues and gender-based violence, areas in which I continue to deepen my knowledge. Currently, I work as a clinical psychologist and serve as the Coordinator of the Mental Health Department at a municipal health center in Almirante Brown, Buenos Aires. In this role, I manage coordination and communication between our center, other healthcare institutions, and the Municipal Mental Health Department. As a public health center, we primarily serve individuals in vulnerable situations, often affected by poverty, violence, discrimination, or a combination of these factors. In addition to my work in the public sector, I also maintain a private practice as a clinical psychologist.
