Joao Guilherme Bau Beneditti

I am a psychologist (CRP 06/178170) and hold a master's degree in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUC-Campinas), where I am part of the PROSPED research group, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Vera Lucia Trevisan de Souza, with a CAPES scholarship. My dissertation, entitled "The School Psychologist and Practice in Education: A Literature Review," investigates the interfaces between school psychology and the educational context. Currently, I work as a Diversity and Inclusion Supervisor at Red House International School, coordinating actions aimed at the inclusion of students with specific educational needs. In this role, I supervise the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), the implementation of pedagogical adaptations, and the work of multidisciplinary teams. In parallel, I practice as a clinical psychologist, providing in-person and virtual consultations. I have prior experience in Primary Health Care Units and at the PUC-Campinas teaching clinic, where I began my professional career during the COVID-19 pandemic. I also worked as a socio-educator in the "Knowing to Change" project, developed by the NGO Movimento Vida Melhor in partnership with FEAC, offering training to public network professionals on addressing sexual violence against children and adolescents. I am the author and co-author of academic publications and presentations, and I have a special interest in the areas of school psychology, diversity and inclusion, and public policies in education. In addition, I have supplementary training in neuroscience, creative writing, and cultural psychology. I am fluent in English and have an intermediate level of Spanish, with international experience in the United States and Colombia.
