With a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Applied Psychology (Hons) from Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies and hands-on experience in providing individual counselling across diverse populations, I am confident in my ability and passion to contribute effectively to your team's mission of contributing to the the field of mental health and creating a difference in the same. During my fieldwork visit at SOS Village, I conducted individual and group sessions with the children and caregivers, focusing on emotional regulation, self-esteem and behavioural concerns. I implemented evidence-based interventions such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioural techniques, and expressive art activities, tailored to the developmental needs of children and adolescents. My work also involved liaising with caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to children's well-being and overall development. In addition to my clinical skills, I bring strong empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity-qualities essential for building trust and therapeutic rapport. I am passionate about creating safe, non-judgmental spaces for clients to explore their feelings, while empowering them to develop resilience and coping strategies.
