Anitta Tom

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Christ University, Bengaluru, and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from Mumbai University, where I studied psychology throughout all six semesters. My academic and clinical training have provided me with extensive experience in psychological assessment, case formulation, and therapeutic intervention. During my master’s program, I completed several clinical internships in hospitals and counselling centers, where I worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and interpersonal difficulties. Under professional supervision, I conducted individual counselling sessions, behavioral observations, and psychoeducation, applying approaches grounded in cognitive-behavioral and person-centered frameworks. Beyond clinical work, I have been actively involved in research and community mental health initiatives. I have published my undergraduate research paper and presented my postgraduate research at a national psychology conference. These experiences have enhanced my analytical thinking, empathy, and communication skills, all essential qualities for effective therapeutic practice. I am deeply committed to promoting mental well-being and creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their emotions and work toward healing and personal growth.
