Maria Lemos

I'm a junior psychologist at Aventura Social - Associação, providing psychology services as part of Cuida-te Program at the IPDJ Sede in Lisbon with adolescents and young adults. I'm also involved in several research projects about psychology. My career began in Genetics, but it was in Psychology that I found my path. In both academic and professional fields, I've always focused on research and involvement in new projects, allowing me to develop resilience, focus, organization, flexibility, time and project management, and teamwork, among other skills. My curricular internship with adolescents fueled my passion for clinical psychology, specifically, the field of chronic illness. In the future, I'd like to combine both my academic backgrounds. I'm currently seeking an opportunity to practice clinical psychology with any age group, starting in January 2026.
