Prof Dr Lina Gatsou

Prof. Lina Gatsou is an Hon. Professor in Child and Family Mental Health and a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over twenty years of experience in the NHS and private sector. She integrates psychiatry, psychotherapy, and holistic wellbeing approaches in her work with children, adolescents, parents, and adults. Trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, family therapy and psychodynamic coaching, she brings a deep understanding of mind–body connection, emotional resilience, and relational healing. Prof. Gatsou’s current work combines clinical practice at Spire Healthcare and academic leadership at De Montfort University with the development of integrative, preventive, and wellness-oriented programmes. Her professional philosophy aligns with her passion and mission to promote whole-person health through evidence-based, compassionate, and cross-disciplinary care. As a therapist, Prof. Lina Gatsou offers a warm, reflective, and deeply attuned space for exploration and healing.
