About

My name is Agnes, and I’m a qualified person-centred counsellor (MBACP) offering both online and face-to-face sessions in a safe, supportive, and confidential space. At the heart of my work is the belief that every person has the capacity to heal and grow when met with empathy, care, and genuine understanding. I offer a warm, respectful space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind—at your own pace, without judgement. Being a therapist is more than a profession to me—it’s who I am. Supporting people on their journey feels natural and deeply meaningful. My purpose as a therapist is to help you identify what it is you truly need or want—and to support you in learning how to ask for it, in a way that honours who you are. Whether you're navigating emotional challenges, life transitions, or complex mental health difficulties, I will walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and a deep respect for your unique process. I have over 10 years’ experience working with adults, children, and young people, supporting people facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, addiction, narcissistic relationships, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and complex mental health difficulties. I also offer creative approaches like art psychotherapy and systemic constellations, where appropriate. My professional background includes work for CGL, Affordable Counselling Network, East Sussex County Council, hospitals, schools, and supported accommodation. I studied at the Metropolitan University and University of Brighton, and I am currently expanding my practice through further study in Creative and Expressive Approaches in Person-Centred Counselling at the University of East Anglia. Before retraining as a counsellor, I gained a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Human Resources in 2005 and spent nearly a decade working in the business environment. This background gave me valuable insight into the pressures, challenges, and interpersonal dynamics that people often face in professional life, and it continues to inform my therapeutic work today.
