I am a dynamic, flexible, and autonomous person, but I enjoy teamwork. Organized and creative, I have good communication skills and am able to energize groups. I have worked and traveled to different parts of the world, and I have always been in contact with the social world through numerous volunteer activities. I like to discover other cultures and new things, open myself to new perspectives, contribute to the change I want, meet very different people, get out of my comfort zone, etc. I work at the SIAD in Puigcerdà and work on topics such as trauma, domestic and gender-based violence: couples, women, and children facing domestic violence, migration, difficult life paths, and serious symptoms such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related to the effects of the violence suffered. As part of this service, I also lead workshops on equality, relationships, and sexuality in the region. Furthermore, I am a professor of psychology at the Open University of Catalonia and I have been an English teacher for many years - the result of years spent in Anglo-Saxon countries - so I also really enjoy teaching and teamwork.
