Over an eight year career in the field of mental health, working in the northern region of India, I have played a role in providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in need of a better mental health and psychological education. As a psychotherapist, my extensive training in relationship and marital concerns, mental health issues like depression, anxiety, substance dependence, disability related concerns reinforce my commitment to my clients and help me to collaborate with them. My approach to psychology is simple but powerful: paying close attention to clients’ unique needs, being fully present and iterating from there. With vigorous training and learning in administering psychological assessments as well as psychotherapeutic approaches especially schema-based, system-oriented and acceptance-based therapies, I believe in creating and maintaining a value-based practice.
