About

Hello, my name is Sifti Kaur Juneja, and I’m currently working as a Counselling Psychologist at Indira IVF, Bhopal. I completed my Master’s in Psychological Approaches to Health from the University of Leeds, UK, where I developed a deep understanding of the relationship between psychological well-being and physical health. My academic journey, combined with my professional experiences, has strengthened my passion for making mental health care more accessible and compassionate. Before joining Indira IVF, I worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Arula for Autism, Mumbai, where I specialized in assessments and therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental conditions. That role really enhanced my ability to work in multidisciplinary setups and design evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Over the years, I’ve also interned at Atman Counselling and Rehabilitation Centre and Havoc Therapy, where I learned the importance of active listening, empathy, and ethical practice in therapy. Beyond work, I’ve been part of community initiatives such as ‘Girl Up Fly’, a UN-affiliated project promoting education and hygiene for women, and ‘Feeding India’, where I served as Head of External Relations for two years. These experiences shaped my belief that mental health is deeply connected with community support and empowerment. In my current role, I focus on supporting patients and couples navigating infertility treatment, helping them manage stress, emotional pain, and relationship challenges with sensitivity and understanding. Overall, my journey so far has been about helping people find emotional balance and strength in moments of vulnerability — and that’s something I truly find meaning in every day.
