About

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering secure online therapy for adults, couples, and families across Ontario, Canada. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative: we’ll set clear goals together, build practical skills you can use between sessions, and track progress with brief measures so you can see change. I work from a trauma- and attachment-informed lens and draw on CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and EMDR-informed strategies to match your needs rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all plan. Clients come to me for trauma and PTSD, abuse recovery, anxiety, panic, OCD, depression and bipolar support, addictions and relapse prevention, ADHD (executive-function skills), anger and emotion regulation, and insomnia. I also support relationships and marriages, including intimacy concerns and sex-therapy-informed work, as well as family coaching around parenting, conflict, and divorce/transition planning. Because work and life are intertwined, I regularly help with employee mental health/EAP issues—burnout, performance anxiety, conflict, return-to-work—and I coordinate with workplaces or providers when that’s helpful and consented. My background includes high-acuity residential addictions care and community mental health with justice-involved and system-impacted clients, so I am comfortable navigating complexity, risk, and multi-system coordination. I am culturally responsive and trauma-aware, and I welcome LGBTQ+ clients, immigrants and newcomers, and people facing stigma or systemic barriers; your values and safety guide the pace of therapy. For health-behavior goals (e.g., stress and sleep affecting blood pressure), I integrate brief behavioral strategies and can collaborate with your physician while maintaining PHIPA-compliant confidentiality. Credentials include CCTP-I/II (Complex Trauma), Certified DBT Professional, ASIST suicide-intervention training, and EMDR step-by-step training; I practice in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. In our first sessions, you’ll leave with a clear plan—what we’re targeting, which tools we’ll use, and how we’ll know it’s working—so therapy feels structured and doable. Evening appointments are available, and I offer a free 20-minute consultation to ensure fit before we start.
