About

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with the NCPS. I hold a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Bachelor’s in Psychological Science. My experience spans working as a psychotherapist in multiple educational settings and providing private therapy for young adults. I commonly work with clients experiencing challenges with, anxiety, depression, self-worth, body image, grief, trauma, and emotional regulation. Part of my work is helping clients untangle their feelings. Together, we explore how life experiences, relationships, and societal expectations have shaped their beliefs and ways of being. For example, a client may feel anxious in relationships but not fully understand why—through therapy, we might uncover underlying fears of abandonment or past experiences that have shaped their expectations of connection. Another client might struggle with self-criticism, not realising how deeply ingrained perfectionism or external validation has become in their sense of worth. By bringing these patterns into awareness, therapy creates space for self-understanding, self-compassion, and change. I use a tailored approach that integrates modalities including, schema therapy to explore deep-seated beliefs, I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to develop emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills, and narrative therapy to reshape the stories we tell about ourselves. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, one that doesn’t impose rigid solutions but instead fosters self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful personal growth.
