Molly Hinchliff

I am a registered social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work and over five years’ experience supporting children and adolescents aged 5–18 in both NHS and private settings. I specialise in working with children experiencing anxiety, OCD, and a range of other mental health difficulties, providing evidence-based, client-centred therapy tailored to each child’s needs. My therapeutic work draws on trauma-informed approaches, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused techniques, and gradual exposure interventions. I work closely with young people to help them understand and manage their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and gradually face fears in a safe and supportive way. In addition to direct therapy, I am ADOS-2 trained to complete Autism assessments and extended ADHD for children and adolescents. My background also includes, parenting support, offering practical strategies and psychoeducation to help families support their child’s mental health and build resilience at home. I am also a trained clinical supervisor, providing guidance and reflective support to junior colleagues and trainees, fostering professional growth and high-quality care. I am committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment where children and families feel understood, empowered, and able to make meaningful progress.
