An individual with intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in psycho- social questions with experience in Psycho-oncology and Youth Mental Health Care. Skilled in individual and group counselling, distress screening, psycho-education and health behavior change intervention. Having an understanding of psychological, social and technical dimensions of cancer prevention research, I have assisted and coordinated with multidisciplinary team in cleaning, tracking, harmonizing longitudinal tobacco cessation data, while modifying and revising questionnaires administered in Rural India for initial and periodic follow up for over 10,000 individuals. Recently relocated to the Netherlands with full work authorization; currently active in learning Dutch (A1) and enrolled in a course on Trauma informed grief therapy to enhance therapeutic skills. Seeking roles in mental health, prevention, or psychosocial care, with a long term goal aligning qualifications with the Dutch healthcare system (BIG registration).
