Shabda Deshpande

I am a fresher with a postgrad Diploma in psychological counselling, I worked as an psychology intern at psychiatry OPD at KEM Hospital Pune where I observed counselling sessions and acquired skills like active listening, psychotherapy and taking down case studies for new clients. I also went for ward and references patients with the psychiatrists. I worked on the following mental health disorders at KEM - schizophrenia, OCD, depression, rehabilitation, bipolar and de-addiction I am good at communicating and listening which is a very important skill for a counsellor. I have also attended many spiritual workshops and i practice mindfulness everyday and that’s why I am confident that i can work with stress management cases I am also a BA philosophy graduate which contributes to my problem solving skills, critical thinking and workplace ethics hence i can contribute to employee mental health too. I assure a safe comforting environment to every individual who needs help. I am a singer and have an experience of 12 years and hold high knowledge of music and can also work as a music/art therapist
